Oh, did you remember to set back your clocks? I woke up super early today....6am. Which is really early for anyone, let alone me. Even with my body thinking it was 7am instead of 6am blows my mind with getting up early. That never happens. Maybe the fact I went to bed at 9:30 has something to do with it. Ya think? I even made breakfast for Steve. Yes, we ate at the table like they did in the 50's. Family time in the a.m. I felt very housewifeish this morning. We had omlettes with mushrooms and cheese. Sounds good, huh?
Like I said, today I am going out to eat lunch with my friend Kris. I haven't seen her in like 6 months. Jeez, maybe more. I guess I won't have much to say anyways cuz nothing major has happened in my life since I've seen her. Just Madison's extra circular activies...that's about it. It may be a short lunch. I'll bring her my newest and latest photobook. Did I tell you that I got it back from the printers? It's so cute. I think so anyways. Probley my best book yet. It's 115 pages big, so it's fun for me to go through. They sent me a free coupon that needs to be used up soon so I just got done making another one. I am scrambling for pictures because I have scrapped just about everyone I have. Except 2005 still. I don't know why I am not scrapping that year. I think I've seen Madison's first year photos so much that I don't feel like going through them again. Anyways, this weekend was digital scrapbooking day (declared by the "community") and they had a ton of sales so I bought a whole bunch of fun papers and elements. It's like a kid being in the candy store. I am sure I could design some of these things myself but other people's stuff is sooo cute! Plus it's funner to use someone else stuff too.
Hey Madison wants to type you all something...here she goes:
dad monster tummy leg hand arm bdztititp
mnbnb bzcsljbhklkjhxzcbm
jhbbvcxzlkjhgfdsalkjhgfdsaopoiutrewq(she said it says: mommy, what's up dude good)
My God that took an hour.Jeepers!
Oh, speaking of Madison....we got a packet in the mail for her to screen for kindergarten. I am glad we finally got something because everyone is telling me that I have to get her in soon. You need to have them screened before they turn 4. Unreal huh? The papers say that it actually to screen for hearing, eyes etc. I didn't read enough to see if they are testing for anything else, like speech...or whatever they test for. I can't believe we have to get this stuff done now. She's growing up so fast. My God, almost kindergarten. Still not pottied trained but she's screening for kindergarten.
Well, I best go get the laundry in that I started this morning. What a good little wifey I am.
Oh, did you get your flu shot? We haven't yet. I suppose I should make that appt. too. Oh, so much to do and so little time!

What a absolute dork. This was at my cousin Marcie's halloween party tonight. It was pretty fun. We were only there for a couple of hours. That's about all we did today!
Oh, Kylee and Barbie came over to drop off our truck. Here is a lovely photo with Madison and her Auntie Barbie.

And with Kylee doing "peace out"!

And Grandma Gracie dressed up for Halloween at the party tonight! Always the party animal! I'm sure you love this layout, don't ya mom? hee hee. It's cute!
Not much more to say! Have a great night everyone. Can you believe that today is Nov. 1st? Oh, set back you clocks tonight. It is back, correct? Yes, yes...fall back and spring ahead. Oh, that means that it's going to get dark out sooner. I HATE that! Night is sooo long. Ick, winter is coming....I don't like that either.

Here we are right before we went out trick or treating! Boy, did we go out for a long time and THEN when we got back she wanted Steve to take her out too. She got way too much candy. Believe it or not, I have been able to behave around the candy. Not perfect, but hey...this world isn't perfect, now is it?
On the healthier side of food, LOOK at all these carrots we picked from our garden. It's been so hard not to pick them as the summer days went on. Every now and then I'd pick one but Steve would get mad at me. FINALLY yesterday he came inside and said "you've been waiting to do this" and then sprung it on me that I could actually go pick the carrots. It was fun. We got one big one out of the bunch and a whole bunch of medium ones.
Well, we are going to go to the big park to play in a few mintues! And hopefully take a long walk around the wood area and burn off some of those fun size butterfingers I ate at 8:30 in the morning (remember I said I wasn't perfect with the candy!). By the way...each fun size has 100 calories, so I just ate 300. Glad I looked to see how many calories those were because now I know better and won't eat ANY of them. I'll tell you how I did later. I feel strong that I can do it!

Well, Happy Halloween everyone! What a nice, glorious, beautiful fall Halloween day we are having, aren't we? Madison and I just got done carving our pumpkins. We kinda forgot to do it as a family, so considering today is Halloween, I just went ahead and did the honors. At least Madison got to do it too. She had fun putting her hands in the goo. Boy, did I get a ton of seeds to bake. Yummy. I wonder what the calorie content of pumpkin seeds are. Probley pretty high like most seeds...or the fat content. I am sure it's the "good" fat.
These photos are from yesterday. I'll try to post today's/tonight's pictures at some point tonight. I am sure we'll go trick or treating right when it gets dark out. Madison is sooo excited. She's been wearing her ariel costume every night now, so it's not a big deal anymore.
We have to run to Target to buy some candles for our pumpkins that I just carved out. I did a traditional face and an "m" on the pumpkins. I'll see what my camera does for night time photos since I haven't taken any at night.
Gotta go and change our unpottied trained daughter who's almost 4. jeez.
Got back from Target and bought Madison these boots: Aren't they cute little thangs? Oh, here's a picture of Madison with/and our pumpkins:

Well, Steve's home and has supper cookin'. We are having hamburgers. Yummy. Hope everyone gets lots of trick or treaters! Have a fun night! We will!

I decided to change the halloween header for the blog...if I didn't do it now, it might be in the winter time before I do it again! I just had some time to play around so I changed it now. Just got back from dropping off Madison at daycare. Today is their halloween party. Fun stuff! Here are a couple pictures from there already...

That's Kia, Madison and Jessica. How cute. I'll go pick up Madison about 4ish and then take more pictures of them all in their costume. How cute.

Last night we had our church pictures of our family. Well, minus Tyler. Lifetouch does them..remember them from all our school photos? Well, they did them and they turned out super good. We ordered a few of them for you grandparents. Then we ordered the proofs so I might scan them and make some prints. Madison did really good in the pictures. I'll be excited to get them back. They were trying to sell us christmas cards and that would of been great except Tyler isn't in them. I still don't know what we are doing for christmas cards this year....I am hoping that Ty goes to Nana and Papa's for Thanksgiving and then we can do a family photo there. I guess we'll have to see. I hate to just send out a card with no photo. Last years was really lame, so it would be nice to have some good ones this year. Not sure what we'll do. Maybe no one will get cards! That's an option, I guess!

Oh, the update on our puppy is we aren't getting one. We think it turned out to be a scam. Without getting too much into the details, the place who was adopting the puppy emailed me back and said that one has been sold but another puppy who's owner is in Africa (apparently took the puppy to africa) is trying to adopt his out now and all we'd need to do is pay for the shipping of the puppy. WHATEVER! The way the letter read is so scamish that I can't believe people would fall for it. It sounded good until you think about it and then scam is written all over it. Stupid people. So much for getting our little English bulldog. Isn't he cute though? We'll probley never be able to afford one because they are really expensive. Who knows. I am ready for a doggie though. I think Steve is too. But it's not going to happen at the moment. We'll have to wait for another opportunity to come up. A real opportunity this time. I just can't believe people who scam over a dog. Whatever. They make me so angry that people do stuff like that. They even have a website that's set up. And if you read this letter you would know that it's not real.

Wednesday, October 29, 2008

We are now trying to adopt this doggie... is it not the cutest thing you have ever seen? A 3 week english bulldog. How cute. Don't ask me how this came about...but we want him/her. I laughed my butt off when steve sent me the picture. It all depends on if they still have him/her and if they'll go any lower on their asking price, which is pretty spendy. But he's soooo cute!
I really want him/her.
I had a dentist appt. today. No cavities, which is really a miracle. Rare at least. I have to go get Madison from Daycare in awhile so I had best get trying to clean the house a tad. bye!

Monday, October 27, 2008

I know, it's been awhile since I have posted some layouts that I have done....I just haven't been doing too many lately. I kinda went through my entire selection of pictures I have and scrapped everything I have. I know it seems impossible, but it's true. Although I didn't do 2005. But I did do 2006-present. Maybe I'll devote a whole book just to 2005. I am waiting ever so patiently for a book that I made to arrive in the mail. It's 115 page book. Fun stuff! Did I tell you this already? I can't remember what I tell and don't tell. It all meshes together and I can't remember! Anyways, it was already shipped so I should be getting it one of these days! How fun. The books that I have done lately only have up to 38 pages in them, so this will be really fun for me to look through 115 pages. I don't think anyone else really enjoy them the way I do. Steve just quickly flips thorugh them when I have recieved them....which is fine with me. Some people aren't really into them. But of course I am so I look and relook at all my books. I read them to Madison and we flip thorugh the pages and talk about who's in what picture. She enjoys them!
This is another sleepless night. I can't get my sleeping right. It's either too much or not at all. I just am not tired. You'd think it was 5:30 in the evening, not the morning. Yes, it's 5:30 am. Well, acutally 5:21 am. I tried to fall asleep out on the couch last night (and the bed, and the couch again, and the bed again) and finally just laid there on the couch and Madison woke up and came out to lie with me. I had to gently "slip" away so she wouldn't wake up. Even as I type this, I am 1/2 holding my breath thinking she'll hear me. Don't worry...I'm not being nice and not wanting to wake up my daughter, I am merely wanting to play on the computer for abit before the day starts. See, I am not doing it for the "right" reason and trying to be quiet! Bad mommy, bad mommy. Oh well, I'll get over it;)
Anyways, Madison is not going to daycare today because I am going to have her go on Wednesday while I have my lovely dentist appointment. Eeks. I guess they are only cleaning my teeth and doing xrays, but even so I make them give me gas so I am not so freaked out. I can't help it. I am terrified of the dentist. So, that's on Wednesday.
Oh, I have to buy Madison some new tights and leotard. The leotard she spilled something on it and it must of been greasy cuz there are now spots and the tights she took a pen and drew all over her one leg. I don't know what got into her one day last week.....I walked into the room and she took pen and drew all over her 2 arms. I mean ALL over them. I had to throw her into the tubbies to be able to scrub the ink off. She screamed and I just laughed at her because I thought it was acutally funny. Anyways, that night she did it to her one leg and off we went to dance class with drawn on tights and a greasy spotted leotard. I'm sure we're the envy of all parents in dance class. I found new tights *this time in black to prevent anymore mishaps, but did not find a new leotard for her. All they had was some Hannah Montana unitard. Maybe a new shipment of leotards will come into target one of these days. I suppose I can go to a specialty dance shop. The target ones cost enough so I am sure it's comparable to a dance shop. Just not sure where one is.
Maybe I'll try to do a layout while everyone is sleeping. Steve will be waking up soon. He'll walk by the computer room, come in and say "what are you doing?". I'll say, "I can't sleep" and then he'll walk out and hop in the shower. That's how it happens everytime. Sometimes he'll shake his head and say "that just isn't right". It varies:) Guess that's all I the pointless talking I have today!

Sunday, October 26, 2008

wow, it's been a long time since I have written in here. What's all happened? Let's see...We went to the screening of HSM3 which was really fun. Then on Friday we went to go see the movie again with the little ones and that was fun! We did a sleep over at Grandma Gracie's house. Then yesterday Steve, Madison and I went to a halloween party at Kari's house. Here are some photos. The kids were so cute.
It was a fun party. The kids got to decorate little pumpkins with sticky stickers.
Steve is trying to put in the other window on the side of the house. What a pain in the butt. I had to help him a little yesterday but he's got a ton more of stuff to do to it today. And it's icky out today so he's bumming.

Wednesday, October 22, 2008

We have a naughty daughter who instagates other children to do the same. This was yesterday in dance class. She would lie down on the floor and then the other children would. She would not do some of the dance steps but have the children next to her talk with her. Oh, we are in trouble...now and down the road. If it wasn't the fact that she wasn't listening, it would be rather funny. She definetly is showing not to be a follower and has her own mind on what she's going to do. TROUBLE.
Tonight I am going to go see a screening of HighSchool Musical 3 with my sister Lynnie. She won tickets on K102. Cool huh? I am really excited to see it! Then on Friday I am seeing it again but this time with my whole family, including Madison. I'll be happy I saw it cuz I don't have a clue how Madison is going to act in the movie theather. Regardless of how she acts, I'll already of had seen it and will be able to leave the theater without being mad that I didn't get to see it. Who knows how she'll do. I am thinking maybe okay because she really likes HSM2. Fun stuff!
Not much is happening today. Madison slept in with me. I slept more than normal just cause she fell back asleep. So, I can't believe it's already 2:00 in the afternoon. We are going to run to the grocery store soon. I need to buy some fat free popcorn cuz I am going to sneak it into the movie tonight. I know...but I want popcorn and I can't handle the guilt of eating the good theater popcorn. TTFN.

Here's some dance pictures of the little troublemaker. Notice her leggings? They are meant to go down on the calf, but she prefers them up all the way. They keep her little leggies warm in these cold autumn days. I can't remember if I already posted these or not. I may of posted these on facebook.
Down below are the pictures of yesterday raking the leaves. Do you know that I didn't even get a blister from raking? I am not sure if that's an indication of my work or not.

Not much is going on today. Madison is in daycare. I am making our supper already so when Steve gets home supper will be made. Isn't that great? I know for all of you who are the cookers in the family, you are laughing at me but since I am not the cooker, this is a big deal. Not excatly a big deal, nor is it news worthy really but it's blog worthy anyways for me! ha! I am being the little stay at home wifey thing right now. I have laundry going, supper cooking. I acutally am barefoot. Nope...NOT pregant, thank God! I had better go check on the laundry so my lovely husband and child has clean clothes for tomorrow.

Sunday, October 19, 2008

Here's a layout of madison, haley and kayla from the other day. I only got a few of the 3 of them together.
Oh, did I mention the vikings suck? Da Bears just intercepted AGAIN. I had to walk away from the game in shame and disgust. I am going to doubt they can turn it around at this point. Guess you never know but I am just hanging my head right now. This is why I have a hard time watching the Vikings...things like that play that just happened...grrrrr.
Well, got done with the raking the leaves and mowing/mulching the front and back yard and now I am tired. I rewarded myself with doing a layout for all the hard work I just did. hee hee. I just felt the need to do a quick and simple layout.

Here are some nice fall layouts. I like them both! Today there will be some more fall photos cuz we HAVE to rake the leaves. I don't really have a choice. Steve said, "we ARE raking leaves today". So, that's what we are doing! Which is fine. I like to do that I guess and plus, it makes for really good photo ops.
I'm going to make us omlettes this bright sunny autumn morning. I think omlettes with feta cheese and some ham and perhaps a little onion plus toast. Sounds yummy huh? I told Steve I just need to wake up a little with my cup o'java this morning and then I'll get right to my wifely duties. He usually makes breakfasts so I thought I'd give the feller a little break. Funny how he usually makes breakfasts, yet usually makes suppers, huh? I guess may the better cook win. And he's the better cook. Guess I'll go check out facebook. Slowly my whole family is getting on facebook. Shoot...when I was over at my mom's I should of signed her up cuz I don't have a lot of faith that she'll understand how to get on.
Talk to ya all later!

Saturday, October 18, 2008

We stayed overnight at grandma gracies the other night and then went over to kim and tom's so madison could play with kayla and haley. Here are some super cute pictures of them playing in the leaves. It was such a perfect fall day out too...

Tonight was Kayla suprise bday party. It was really fun. I think she was suprised. I totally forgot my camera so I sadly didn't take any photos.

Did you watch the Palin thing on Saturday Night Live? I did. At least the beginning...the opening of SNL. I thought it was pretty funny and I thought Palin could act pretty well. Better than some other people I have seen on that show open. It was pretty good. It's still on but I wanted to come on the computer for a bit. I am pretty tired. I got up early yesterday morning over at Grandma Gracies and I still haven't caught up on my sleep.

Here's some more picutes from when we went to the pumpkin patch. I couldn't get any really good photos of madison but there were some funny ones I thought.

I like the last one of her eating her popcorn. It was the only way I could get her to pose with the pumpkins...She was like a real pro. Posing for the photos, but still doing her thang. hee hee. She was pretty tired when we went to go see the pumpkins. We bought 2 of them. I can't wait to carve them. Maybe we'll make the seeds again this year. I guess you kinda have to cook them, don't you? Mmmmm, salty pumpkin seeds slighty burnt. Those kinds taste good. Steve likes to snack on nuts and stuff so he'll more than likely want to cook them. I might try to do a layout tonight. I haven't really been doing them the last few days. I am going to have another one of my photobooks really soon. I love finishing the books. How fun for me to get back in the mail. It's like a present to myself. Anyways, I can't remember what else I have done since the last time I blogged so that'll have to be it for now! Good night:)

Sunday, October 12, 2008

Let's see....I haven't blogged in awhile now! We've been busy these last few days. We had to drive down Alexis's car back to their farm and spent overnight there. It was pretty fun. Here are some photos of that day:

Here's a picture of Steve and Jimmy. Can you tell Steve was annoyed at me for taking photos?

Oh, speaking of pictures...I just entered Madison into the GAP casting call. This is the picture I used to enter her. It's my fav of her.

I'm sure there are a hundred better ones where it shows her personality more, but this is still my favorite picture of her. Oh how exciting thinking that she could possibly be a little gap model. I am sure there are 1 million entering this. Well, someone's got to win so why not my child, right? Right.

Last night we went to Bingo. Didn't win anything but it was pretty fun. Didn't win anything gambling on the slots either. Bummer. I spent some money but nothing too bad. I feel all gambled out ever since we went to Vegas. I suppose that is good though! My Aunt and cousin and sisters and mom were all there. It was pretty fun. We laughed alot!

Well, gotta go. Madison, our untrained potty girl needs me to change her pull up. I am about at my wit's end with dealing with the potty training. Not good. Don't even feel like talking about it!

Thursday, October 9, 2008

Look at this cute little smile on the Maddie:

She is so cute:) I think I just posted some pictures yesterday of Madison in this dress. Can't remember anymore! Oh yes...I did.

Here are 2 of her playing down at the park. She was playing really cute with this little boy. She was the one "in charge" yesterday with the little boy. Almost bossy. Not quite sure how to take that yet.

Oh, she fell off the swing yesterday. Pretty scary. Thank GOD it was sand under her and not cement or tar because she would of split her head wide open. I was pushing her and I pushed back on the swing but she kept going forward and the swing slipped out from under her. She landed right down on her head. Poor little thing. She cried so hard. I am sure it hurt but it was was pretty scary so think that's why she was crying more. She didn't seem to have a headache or anything afterwards which is good. I had one from the drama, but that's just me:)I like this picture of Maddie playing with her dollies. She plays so cute with them. I can't believe what a girl she is. I never played with dolls really unless it was trying to do their hair or making up their houses. She she plays with them alot. We spent yesterday morning making houses for them to sleep in. In the picture she is playing the doctor and the babies are sick and see is giving them medicine. Cute stuff.

We have a babysitter tonight and are going to go see a movie. We are going to go see that Brad Pitt and George Clooney movie...hmmm, what's it called? Burn After Reading. If you'd like you can go check out the trailers here. I guess the reviews are pretty good so I am kinda excited. Steve could care less about going to movies, so the sweet hunk of a guy is doing it for his little wifey. Good guy. We are kinda supporting our babysitter by having her babysit because she got a traffic violation. Actually not a moving traffic violation but a noise ordiance because her radio was too loud. Her and her mom came over the other day to ask us if we have ever heard of that happening to anyone and we said no. I guess she's getting a pretty raw deal and has to go to juvinelle court for this. She's a good kid so that's a bummer that the cop had to be such an idiot and making her out to be a bad girl. I guess the cop wasn't too nice to her. Needless to say her and her parents are freaking out that she is going to juvinelle court! Jeepers. She's definetly getting a raw deal and is being made to be the example which totally sucks. I feel bad for her. Anyways, she needs money to pay the ticket and called up the other day to see if we needed a babysitter for anything because she needs money. So, that's the whole reason we are going to go see a movie.

Well, I better get something done today. I spent the afternoon going to look for clothes. God, there is nothing out there. Good thing I am not working right now because I don't know what in the world I would do if I had to live out of sweats. I definetly am not the fashion plate these days. I did buy a sweater from Target yesterday. Today I went to Herbergers and TJ Maxx and Dress Barn (I hate that name) and back to Target. Lots of running around for nothing.

I told Steve that I'd do the lawn so I had best get out there and get my chores done. tata

Wednesday, October 8, 2008

How do you like the halloween blogger that I put up? Not a great blog header but festive non the least. Went to Target today and bought Madison some cute clothes. I know I said I wasn't going to buy from Target anymore, but these were kinda cute, so I did. Here are some pictures.

She sure loves her little dresses. Even this one is a "princess" dress to her. Which makes it so nice to get her dressed in the morning if she thinks she's putting on a princess dress. We bought her also a cute sweater with another skirt and then some tights. At least the sweaters are pretty nice at target.

Well, gotta go and watch tv with Madison before we go to bed.

Tuesday, October 7, 2008

oh, go here and see Tyler....also click on his picture! He sure is on their website alot!
http://www.mnstate.edu/recruitment/ Cool stuff, huh?

Here are some pictures of little missy m in her dance gear:

I want to get some nice pictures of her with her hair down in her little tutu. How cute! She had a blast again dancing tonight and a few times left her dance area to come out and say hi to us. She was very excited that her Dad came to watch tonight. She told the teachers that "her Dad was there"...very sweet.

I am in the middle of watching Paris's BFF. Stupid show BUT I LOVE IT! I am suck a dork with these stupid shows but this one is pretty good I think. Anyone else watch it? I doubt it. I know...it's a stupid reality show but I still love it:)

yea, Madison enjoyed ice skating today. She did GREAT! She barely fell and when she did she didn't cry. I think it helped that there were a few other kids skating with her who were constantly falling. I am happy she enjoyed it because she said she didn't want to go back to skating anymore. I am not sure if she really doesn't like it or just saying that. Still not sure which way to take it. With dancing, it's a given she likes it. She gets really excited and lets me do her hair and is excited to put on her little leotard. We have dancing tonight. Steve is going to come. I still haven't got any cute photos of her in her leotard. Maybe tonight will be the night. Who knows! I hope so because I am starting to crave to do some layouts.

Here are a few I had to do for a team that I am on. I love their papers!

Gotta go now because Madison wants to play doctor.
