I bought these worn photo overlays and think they are the coolest thing since slice bread...lookie, lookie....they make the photos look old and worn.....I LOVE them!
Aren't those beautiful? I think so! Oh, how exciting! I LOVE them. I am sure I'll be using those on all my photos now! FUN stuff!

So, yesterday we had our kickball game. Only 2 major injuries. One requiring surgery. Not bad for a bunch of late 30/40 yr olds, huh? Seriously, the injuries were bad. One sprained calf muscle...got carried off the field, and one torn achielle's heel tendon who also got carried off the field. Both were in Urgent Care last night. Other than that, we had a blast! Here are some photos...

Here is Team Jennie...

Team Lynnie...

Later on we switched up team and had new captains...Here is Team Kelly. I didn't get a photo of Team Kim.

Below is injury #1. She's the one with the snapped achillies tendon. Can you say ouch? She'll be in surgery soon.

And this is the other injury...a sprained calf. Just like I did mine and then Kim did. We could symthasize with her.

Then we all went back to our house and partied until 10pm. It was really a fun day and night. It's been a long time since we've all gotten together!

And then mine and Kim's self portrait!

Well, I have been up since 5am. I woke up and couldn't fall back asleep. I am going to go meet my mom and Lynnie at Panera Bread in Plymouth this morning for coffee. Should be fun. I love getting up early and going somewhere. Which, I know, is unlike me to do, but that doesn't mean that I don't like getting up. I want to play more with my new overlays but Madison woke up abit ago and wants me to watch cartoons with her so I'll go out there in a minute. Oops, she calling now so I better go! Bye.

Oh..we are waiting for Nana to arrive today to come watch Madison while we go to Vegas. I am super excited to go right now! Mom gave me 30 bucks to try and win her a million in Las Vegas. I'll call her as I am gambling so it'll be fun for her to see if I do anything with her money. I am excited to lay at the pool and go gambling. It'll be fun. I wish I could blog while I was up there. I'd never to go to sleep then, but that's okay cuz it's the town that never sleeps. Kinda like me!

We are just hanging out...STARTED our vacation RIGHT NOW! Whoo hoo! It's Friday and we're ready to par-tay!
Great photo of Steve, huh? Oh...speaking of photos, I took about 200 of them while we were playing outside tonight and I found my moneyshot...here it is:
I love, love, love this photo. I think I like it better in color though. Anyways, awesome photo! Madison got a new princess dress today. We have to throw her other ones away because they are so ratty. The dresses are expensive, but for the amount she wears them, it's worth the money. Here she is in it...Not that you can really see it! Out of the 200 photos I took I didn't get one good one of her standing up in it! Oh well...there's always tomorrow! Speaking of tomorrow...we are getting together with my old softball/broomball team to play a game of kickball and then bbq'ing over at our house. I have to get up early and mow the lawn! eeks...it's alreay 1:00 am. Oh well...I am on vacation and should get used to not sleeping in Vegas. I am in training:)

How do you like the new header that I made? It's a tad too large, but it's going to have to do because I keep trying to shrink it a bit more and then replace it and I've done it about 5 times already and figured it's just fine the way it is. See how I've transfered that saying from my weight to my art? It's just fine the way it is...Maybe I'll make some word art for that saying. Anyways, I love the block letters! Oops, gotta go...the critter just came in and wants to play abit.

Here's another layout I did of Madison and Indio playing. I am ct'ing for a few designers so I get free products but have to scrap layouts using their products.

I think I'll work on some word art and post them here later...
Here's a little layout I did of Indio and Madison blowing bubbles on their little playdate.

I just got back from grocery shopping. Trying to get stocked up a little bit for when Nana is here watching Madison. Of course I forgot the one thing that we go through the most....apple juice.

Did you know I get coldsores when I get stressed out? Well, apparently I do. I didn't think I was getting stressed out going to Las Vegas, but I must be because I got a coldsore. The last time I went to Vegas (our honeymoon) I had the HUGEST coldsore ever. You can totally see it in every picture. This time it's not a huge, but you can still see it. If you get cold sores you should try a product called abreve. The tinest little tube for about 15 bucks, but it works. It's not working so well on this one. Maybe it is working and that's why it's not as huge as my last coldsore. Anyways, I don't know why I am stressing out about Vegas. A little bit about leaving Madison for 3 nights. I am going to make her a little calender for the 4 days we are gone so Madison can visually see when we are leaving and when we are coming back. Maybe it'll make it a little easier on her. I just don't want her to think that we are leaving her and not coming back. I'm sure she'll be just fine in Nana's hands! Hey Nana...remind us that we need to put her carseat in your car before we leave! I guess that's the stuff I am stressing about. Oh, I am sure it'll all be fine.

I put mom and Kim's Fair Hills vacation pictures up on a website. If you would like to see the pictures, you can visit http://fairhills2008.shutterfly.com/ . It's kinda a cool website to post your photos on because it really looks like a website and not just shutterfly's website. Anyways, go check it out. Mom sent me the disc of photos so I might try to do a layout with some of them.

Well, I am going to go on my walk now. I really don't feel like it AGAIN. I have been slacking off abit in that department. I just am discouraged because I am not seeing results really. But I am thinking of it as a lifestyle and that's what I want is a healthy active lifestyle. It's important for me for Madison to see us exercise daily or so. I want her to grow up with us being active. Expecially since we are older parents. If we can keep this up in our 40's then we can keep it up in our 50's. Isn't that scary? Our 50's. I NEVER thought I'd hear myself say that in my life! I think I am getting a little freaked out that 40 is right around the corner. Jeepers...40. Unreal. I need to remember if I don't use it, I will lose it. I need to think for health reasons, not just weight reasons. Still doesn't make me really want to go right now, but I will as soon as I get done blogging. I promise! So, I better go and just do it. Right NOW! Bye!

I am addicted to making these buttons. If you have one you'd like me to make for you, just leave a comment below and I'll post it on the blog soon! How fun!

We are going to run to Target in a bit. God, I HATE their pharmacy. I filled 2 perscriptions yesterday over the phone. They said it was refillable and it would be ready for pick up after 2pm. I went there at 5 and they said I wasn't able to fill one of them until today. I got mad and said, it would be nice if they would of said that in the first place and then I wouldn't of come all the way out here to get my perscription. They don't care. I just hate that place. They can't ever understand what I am saying and I can't understand what they are saying due to lanuange barriers. They always ask for my name and I say Kelly Michaels. Michaels is the last name. Then they go look for the perscription and they say they can't find anything for Michael. I say, "It's KELLY. MICHAELS is the LAST name!" God, it's every time too. I am not exgarraging about that. Steve went and picked up his last week and they said the same thing. That's the first time he's gone to pick it up and I think he finally realized that I am not just complaining and exgarrating about my lovely target pharamacy experience. Anyways, I should just change places. Too bad it's convient because I think that's the only reason they keep their business. I can't be the only one who goes through this each time. I listen to the poor older people stand there and try to be polite to them. They should just be like me and GET TO THE POINT.

All right, I have too much time on my hands. Did I make my point though? Maybe I should hand out the buttons to the elderly to wear.

Tuesday, August 26, 2008

Do you like my Michaels button? Not much is going on. Today Madison had a playdate with Indio (Kari's son). It was pretty fun but she got really crabby at the end and was screaming when we had to leave. I HATE it when she acts like that. But, she's a 3 yr old and that's how they can act at times.

Steve took the day off of work. He doesn't feel good. He's got a headache. Poor guy.

I think Maddie and I are going to go on a walk in a little bit. I really don't feel like going (again) but these are the last days before I go to Vegas and I really should try to be working out alot before we go. I was suppose to of been down to where I wanted to be, but it didn't happen that way. I still haven't lost anymore. Bummer. It really bums me out because there is no reason that I shouldn't be losing but I am not. My body really doesn't want me to lose the weight. If it were up to me, I'd be losing but my body wants something different. Dang it. Okay, enough of that talk. I am DONE talking about that stuff on my blog. I am fine how I am. There...good enough.

I am getting excited about Vegas. I feel like I have to do so much before we go, but in reality, I don't really. Just gotta get all the laundry done. I can handle that.

Okay...not much to talk about, so I'm going to go. Here's a little layout I did for a creative team that I am on....

Sunday, August 24, 2008

Well, the whole gang left yesterday. We had so much fun. Madison sooo loved her cousins being here. Today is kind of a stuggle for her not having anyone other than mom and dad to play with. It was really good to see everyone and we hate to see them leave! Here are some pictures of the last few days...

I can't even remember what we ended up doing! Let's see...we went to the Mall of America one day and then over to Todd and Maria's to hang out. Then the next day we all met at the big park and everyone came over to our house for Steve's famous ribs. It was really, really fun!

Friday, August 22, 2008

Made this layout too...yes, I had/have too much time on my hands. But I love this photo of Steve...it's an old one. One from Chicago. This is my all time favorite picture of him ever. Everything in it is so perfect.
Anyways, today Steve and I took Madison to the beach for about an hour and then we went and met up with the whole gang at camp snoopy at the mall of america. It was really fun but Madison was a horror getting her out of there. She was so crabby right before we left and she decided to get out of her stroller and sit on the floor and wouldn't get up and then at one point she ran down the store isles/hallway thing and Steve had to run to get her and then carry a screaming child out of the store with her kicking and stuff. God, it was bad. I finally felt sorry for her when she said, "mommy, I am having a hard time" and then she said, "do you still love me?" and it broke my heart because we have been talking about how even when she is naughty we love her and will love her no matter what. It was quite cute and sad at the same time.
Anways, she's "resting" on the couch. Suppose to be sleeping but is just "resting". Steve went downstairs to watch tv and I came into the computer room. We all took our corners again.
I'll have a ton of great photos to post later on and also to scrap with! whoo hoo!
Well people, I just pulled an all-nighter. I can't believe that I haven't gone to sleep at all. It's now 6:50 am and I think I have been sitting at this computer for the last 7 hours. Doing what, you ask? Well, I made some layouts. I must be gearing up for our wedding anniversary which is September 4th, because I was looking at wedding photos. How fun. I loved our wedding! It was the perfect wedding that I could ask for! Here are the layouts:

I also organized some stuff on the computer and surfed the web abit. Honestly...7 hours is obsessive, I'd say. BUT, what the hell else am I suppose to do when I can't sleep? Madison got up a few times and I laid back down with her to get her to fall asleep again. I suppose she will be getting her little sleepy head up pretty darn soon. Maybe I'll take her on our walk and get that over with. Oh, yesterday when I did my 4 mile walk (which I sooo didn't want to do) I ended up jogging the furtherst I have ever jogged before! That was awesome. Maybe next time I go, I will try to go just a bit further and push myself. I can't run with the jogger though. That's just way too hard because the jogger doesn't turn. You have to kinda lift it up in it's back wheels and jolt it to where you want to go. It's a pain in the butt.

Today we will go over to Todd and Maria's and hang out with everyone. It should be fun. I love it when everyone gets together. Fun stuff! Madison sure had a good time with the kiddies last night. She really got along with Conner and Tanner. I mean, she got along with all the kids but for some reason I watched her really inneract with the twins. It's funny saying, "the twins" cuz that's how people refered to me and Kim and I actually hated it my whole life. Okay, then why in the world would I say with with Tanner and Conner? I vow to never call them "the twins". I also try really hard to be correct with telling them apart. It's hard because I don't ever get to see them. But I still try because I HATED it with a passion when people couldn't or can't get me and kim straight. That was always our secret to knowing who really cared or not to get to know us because if you get to know us, we don't look anything alike. There's my little tantrum on being a twin. Anyways... Tanner and Conner may not feel the same way and basically probley won't even care because they are boys, but they have a lifetime to come up with their "twin pet peeves". Okay...I got it all out. Next...

There really is no next. I am done with pet peeves. Okay, just have one more...it's when the fricken TRAIN blows it's whistle at 7 in the morning. The railroad tracks are right by us and it is sooo loud. Expecially when you don't want your 3 year old to wake up yet. Goddddddd, there it goes again! It's so loud.

I kinda sound crabby, don't I? I don't feel crabby, wait maybe I do because the damn train horn is going off AGAIN. I give Madison 5 mintues before she's up. Hey...maybe she's immune to that noise because she's heard it her whole life. I remember when she was a newborn and the horn/whistle would go off. I really got mad because I was so sleep deprived and didn't want Madison to wake up. Guess today is no different...I am sleep deprived and don't want Madison to wake up.

Well...I sure did a lot of talking about nothing. Guess I'll go and surf the net more. I made some coffee so I'll pour myself a hot cup of java and look at the headlines on the internet and get caught up in the wordly events. Hee hee...it's usually just the celebrity gossip that I really pay attention to. I haven't heard any good gossip lately on any celeb. I wish someone would get in some trouble or something. Remember the good days when Lindsay Lohan was driving people over and Britney was landing in the hospital? That was kinda fun stuff going on for awhile. Allright, I am not going to keep going on about nothing. If you acutally read this whole post, high five to you. Bye for now! Hey...do you remember these photos of us doing modeling shots in Chicago?

Here's another one of me and Ty doing model shots:Boy, did we have fun doing those pictures! What a blast. That was our Chicago trip 2005. Well....people, no one is up in the Michaels household and it's 8:40. Unreal. I can't believe everyone is still sleeping. What a bunch of sleepyheads. I feel pretty good inspite of being up all night. I can usually do this without a problem. I will be nice and sleepy for bed tonight, that's for sure. I just can't believe that they are not up yet. Shall I make them breakfast when they get up? Yes, of course I'll make them breakfast. Maybe I'll do omlettes. Oh, we don't have any bacon. Bummer. Oh well...it's better for us not to have any. Speaking of health...my weight has stayed the exact same for 2 weeks now. I thought I lost last week, but that was some maricle that the numbers jumped below what it has been the rest of the week. Talk about frustrating. I have followed my plan PERFECTLY. All I can keep doing is try. When we went out to eat the other night, I basically said the hell with it and ordered myself a cheeseburger. To keep true-fashion to myself, it was a boca burger. I couldn't really say the hell with it and just go nuts. But I thought, why not because it hasn't changed one bit. I don't know what else I am going to do to lose it. I can't/won't get off my medication, so I guess I am just going to have to have 1 lb come off every month. I guess as long as it's going down, then that's okay. Not great, mind you...just okay. I am not happy with it. I am used to losing weight when I want and how I want, not something preventing me from doing it. Okay, I am done talking about my weight. I am lovable the way I am, dog gone it. Did ya get that? That was from the Saturday Night Live guy who reads affirmations in the mirror to himself. Well, I think I am going to go on my walk in a few mintues cuz I just can't believe that no one is still up. Oh, I don't feel like going. I'll have to force myself again to do this.

Thursday, August 21, 2008

Well, Niki and the kiddies finally made it to Minnesota! Tonight we all went to Alyssa's volleyball game in Prior Lake. It was fun...and stressful to watch the game. Nana and Papa were there too! I only got about 4 pictures tonight but tomorrow we are going to go over to Todd and Maria's so all the cousins can play together. Both Todd and Steve took the day off of work, so that will be fun. NOT that we need Todd or Steve to be there to have fun. Anyways...I will get alot of photos tomorrow!

Here's a layout and some pics of tonight.

It's another night of me not being able to sleep...it's 1:30 in the morning. I have to sleep out on the living room floor with Madison because we are having a slumber party in the living room. She'll freak if she wakes up and I am not out there.

Oh...talking about Madison...her doctor called us tonight and told us that she needs to go back on her medication NOW. Her T-3 level (I think) is 10.5 or something and normal is .5. I got a little sad knowing that she'd have to probley be on the meds the rest of her life now. I was really hoping that she didn't have to. But yes, if that's all that's wrong with her, then that is not a big deal....things could be much worse. So, in reality, it's not a big deal.

Well..I think I'll try to get to bed now or shortly anyways. Good night.

Tuesday, August 19, 2008

I love this layout....so girly! That was this afternoon....Maddie and I took a huge umbrella from the closet and went outside in the rain! We went looking for rainbows at the end of the driveway. I am glad I took these photos cuz they are so cute with her princess (yes...the SAME one) dress on.
I had to do some layouts for someone that I CT for on their design team. I love this girl's papers/elements...in case you want to check out more of her stuff, you can check her out here.
I suppose I should tell you her name. It's Berna Datema. I have actually been on her CT for more than a year now. Cool stuff. She's very inspiring to me. Yes, I too am sick of those same photos. I have to take some more as soon as I can. I guess as soon as Madison will let me.
Not much is going on today. Maddie and I took our little walk and stopped at the school's playground so she could play for about a 1/2 hour or so. Then we came back and she swam in her little pool. I sat in the chair with my feet in the water so I could handle the heat. Then we went grocery shopping. Pretty boring day. Now she's watching Super Readers on TV. Steve will be home in abit. He's got to stop at target and get his medications refilled. I suppose I should clean up a tad. We are trying to get the house a little cleaned up before Niki and the kiddies get her. I don't know if Doug is coming or not. I assumed he was, but then I thought someone said that Niki was going on the plane by herself with the kiddies....how stressful is that? Oh shoot...are they coming tomorrow?!?! Or Thursday? Guess I am not sure. Nana and Papa are coming back from Arizona tomorrow, I think. I guess I am not sure on that either. Guess I don't fully know the scoop on the inlaws. Eeks...I really better get the house cleaned up if it's tomorrow. Enough of blogging, I gotta get to cleaning. I better do some emailing and see when people are coming.
Kim called me from Fair Hills today but I was not home when she called. I am so jelous that I am not at Fair Hills. Good times!
That's about all folks...my life is not blogging material. Now, 10 years back...that's a different story. But now-a-days, not so much. I guess which is good in it's own way. Later.

Monday, August 18, 2008

Oh my God, it's so hot that I can't even sleep. I hear Steve snoring away, but I ....nope. Not even close to sleeping and it's 11:57pm. Oh, here's a photo of me, Steve and Madison.

We are going to use this for our christmas photo and then drop in a picture of Tyler so it appears he's in the picture but obivious that we photoshopped him in...lol. Of course, this is our type of humor. Wanna see? Not sure if this is the acutal photo we'll use or not...depends on wether or not we actually get a family photo together this year. Anyways...here's the photo with Ty in it. Can you see the "tape" that is holding Ty onto the photo? hee hee....I think this is so funny.

This is totally our sense of humor. Do you think that everyone will get that it's because we never see him that we couldn't get a photo of him with us? Some people just don't get this type of humor. But we do...it's halairious. ha! Anyways...if you get this for Christmas, just know it's because we didn't get any family photos of us. Remember our photo from Christmas back in 2005? Hang on...I'll find it for you...

Remember now? We thought this was the funniest thing ever. Not totally sure if everyone got it or not, but I had good feedback from people saying they laughed out loud on it. Anyways, we were going to do a series of these for Christmas with Steve constantly being stressed out every year in the photo! That is so funny. Then I was going to do 4th of July cards the same way but Steve was going to be totally sunburned with zinc on his nose swating flies or something. I was going to be lying there in a bikini looking super good (Okay...the honest truth is I haven't looked good enough to do this in the last 2 summers, so hence, no card being sent out), Ty was going to be at the beach with a whole bunch of college girls, and Madison was just going to look cute swimming in her little pool or something. Isn't that funny? I really intend to do this. Maybe this coming summer will be the year. I just think it's funny. Okay..enough of my (and Steve's) sense of humor. I obiviously can't sleep and have the time to think up this stuff right now. Oh...I am bored but maybe I'll try going to bed soon. Really am not tired one bit. Have a good night.

I have a ton of pictures from the twins game that we went to yesterday, which by the way was really fun.....

We really had a good time. I wish Steve could of gone though. Things just aren't as fun when he's not along! Guess that's a good thing! But it was really fun. Lot more fun watching a game at the dome than watching it on tv. I get too bored with it on tv.

I am about to go drop off Madison at daycare. A little girl who use to go to her daycare is going to be there today and I think the rest of the week. This was a little girl that Madison use to be good friends with, but she had quite the personality if you know what I mean and that usually rubbed off on Madison. We'll see how she is when she gets home today. I have to go get my hair done....my roots are really bad right now. I canceled my appt. 2 weeks ago so it would be closer to when we leave for Las Vegas. I can't stand it so I am glad that the appt. is today.

That's about all that's going on. The Hills is on tonight. New Season! Yeah! I know it's a stupid show but I am sucked into it big time. Also, if you like "the girls next door", that's going to be on too. I hope those 2 shows are on at the same time. I really want TVio. Then I could watch ALL my stupid shows. That would be awesome. Maybe after I get done buying my camera (I have it narrowed down to what I want) then maybe I'll get TVio.
Here's a photo of the Nikon D40. Good reviews and stuff. There is alot of camera talk on the digi sites I go to and this one is highly talked about. I have abit more to save up, but it's getting there. My camera I use right now is starting to break down. The part that covers the lens is loose and it's only a matter of time before it breaks off. I don't know what the hell I'll do if it breaks before I buy my good camera. Scary to think I'd be without a camera for any peroid of time.

Well, I am back from getting my hair done. Looks lovely. Steve can never tell that I got my hair done. He never thinks it looks different. I don't know how you can't see someone's roots. I only got a partial done this time... I think I should of gotten a full hightlight done but I didn't say anything as she got done with it partially. I should of said something. Oh well...next time. You can only tell when I wear a ponytail. Which I guess is all the time anyways. I am trying harder to wear my hair done. It's so hard though. But I guess what is the sense of having long hair if you don't wear it down! I couldn't cut my hair anyways. I know I am almost 40, but I just can't bear the thought of really having it shorter than it is. Last October I had gotten 4 or 5 inches cut off of it and it was fine, for about a week before I hated it. I have done that a few times in my life, gotten it cut to my shoulders and then not liked it, so I have learned my lesson...no more short hair for me until my age REALLY makes me have to cut it.

Then I ran to Herbergers and bought a shirt for Vegas. I just wanted one new thing to wear for night. It's black. Guess I'll be wearing alot of black out there. Anyways, it's a cute shirt.

Oh...then I ran to target to buy some more pull ups for our STILL NOT POTTY TRAINED FULLY daughter. I got the cutest little dance stuff for her. A leotard thingie and a pair of tights...look how cute they are...

Cute, huh? Well, I gotta go...Steve wants me to look up something in our email. Guess I was done blogging anyways. Talk to ya all tomorrow..or so. Bye

Hey, any of you digiscrapping enthusists (bette?)....if you want to go to my new freebies blog, feel free. You can go to the blog at: http://inkededges.blogspot.com/....I have this up for grabs.... OR just click on the picture and it'll bring you to the download page. Then just download it and use the doodle flowers on your scrap pages.

I felt like doing some designing again and figure I'll just have a blog with some free stuff on it. Bookmark the site if you want to go back again to see what I have later on. Who knows when I'll put stuff on there, but I still like making things and giving them away. If you don't digiscrap, maybe you should try it! It's really fun and addictive. Hopefully the link will work..I guess I haven't tried it out yet.

We just got back from being on the boat. Fun. We caught a few fishies. Steve caught a nice size bass. I have to go mow the lawn so I'll blog later on! Here's a photo of Madison and Steve fishing today...

I'll leave you with another layout of yet, another favorite photo of mine. I think I have started looking through older photos and scrapping some of my favorite photos. Oh, there are so many that stand out for me. I definetly have to scrap our chicago 2005 model photos. Those are great ones. I'll wait until I have some creative inspiration in me. I have some now, but not alot. It comes and goes. Yesterday I had some, today I have a little. Who knows, tomorrow I may have none.

Tonight was pretty uneventful. I went on my 3 mile walk, Steve grilled, I gave the child a tubbies, Steve watched the football game downstairs while Madison finished watching "the little mermaid" for the billionth time on the big tv and then I played in the computer room. We kinda all took our own little corners and did what made us happy.

Tomorrow I am going to the Twins game with Kylee and Nikki and Lynnie and Todd. I will be geared up in the only Twins gear I have which is a twins jersey. You'll see the photos tomorrow.

Oh, Kim and their family and my mom all went up to Fair Hills today. They'll be there this whole week. I am totally jelous. Fair Hills is a family vacation spot that me and Kim grew up going to. Now Kim and Tom and their family go every year. I am hoping that next year or the year after we will start going. It's a great family spot. Very good childhood memories going there every year. If you want to check it out, go to: http://www.fairhillsresort.com/. I would love Madison to grow up going there too. It's nice that my mom gets to go with them. Kim and Tom bought her a week for a christmas present. Nice present.

Well, I guess I out to be going to bed now. Lynn and Todd are picking me up about 11 am, so I will have to get up early (for me, that is) so I can be ready to go in my twins gear. I'll take pictures at the game tomorrow. This will be a first game for me this year. Usually I get to at least a few games. We were going to go one day with Steve's work, but those plans kinda fell thorugh. Oh well...as long as I get to one game this year I will be fine! Nighty night.

Just playing around with those photos from yesterday still. Fun stuff. Earlier today we went to get blood from Madison's arm. She cried. I was sitting in the waiting room and could hear her plain as day. Poor little girl. She didn't cry last time and we were hoping it would be the same. Steve obiviously was in there with her. I think she does better with him vs. me. Maybe that's just me not wanting to deal with my child in pain. I am living in denial. Oh well...so be it. But it didn't matter cuz I could still hear her scream and then there was nothing I could do about it since I was in the living room. I don't think it would work too well with both me and Steve in the room with her. Anyways, it's over with. Then the 3 of us went to lunch at Consetta's in St. Paul. Good food there. I acutally didn't eat any lunch because I had just had my breakfast about an hour earlier. Still, the food there is really good. It's actually the first date Steve and I ever went on was out to lunch there at Consettas. I was telling Madison the story. We had a lot of "first dates" so I am not sure which first date that was, but it was one of them. For some reason when we go places we always say, "didn't we do this/that on our first date?" ha!
Then me and Madison dropped Steve off of work and went to Auntie Lynnie's house. She's having a garage sale. Madison and I played on the trampoline abit and then we came home. Steve left work early today and he's sleeping right now. He got super tired cuz he ate most of Madison's lunch after he ate his own.
I still have to go walking...don't feel like it. But I'll probley end up going. I think I basically walk 7 days a week for the most part. Every now and then I'll take a day off but it's not too often. I guess there's nothing wrong with trying to be active for at least an hour a day. I'm sure somewhere that's the recommended physical activity for some chart somewhere.

Here's our latest, and kinda first, batch of tomatoes from our garden. Oh, and a few squash. Steve says we are never going to grow green beans again because I don't do my job and pick them. I have good intentions, but I just never quite seem to get my ass out there to pick them. Sorry about the swearing. Mom told me that I swear "an awful lot" on my blog. I told her I blog just like I talk. So if any of you kiddies are reading this, just skip over the naughty words and remember that Auntie Kelly is trying to clean up her act. :)Here's the child eating a pickle from the last batch of pickles that Steve canned. They are really good. I don't eat much of them, but I should. He loves making them. Kinda cool that he can just take them from our garden and pickle them. We did go to the farmer's market where he bought a bushel so he can do a big batch. They are good, you'll have to try one the next time you come over. Here's a nice pic of da boy and Steve. They are being "manly" and giving each other space. Oh...Ty finally decided to mention to us that he has a girlfriend. We said, so much for the theory of not dating anyone....he said he went about a year without a girlfriend! That's pretty long. Anyways, he's been dating her for 2 months now I think he said. She is in plays and stuff with him. Duh..where else is he going to meet someone?

Well, maybe I should get going and do something else besides blog. Madison is watching her movie for the 100th time.
