Just a couple of layouts for you today. Well, actually I should say tonight...let me rephrase that and say this morning. It's 2:00 am and I can't sleep. I have a dentist appointment tomorrow morning and I am nervous. I always am for the dentist because it hurts so much. Even with gas and novicane, I am a wreck. I am always bracing myself for pain. Anyways, it's very stressful for me to go to a dentist. I am a big baby, but it's painful.
We went to Ikea tonight to find a mattress for Madison's bed. We didn't find one really. Well, we did but I want to go look at regular mattress places first. Then maybe she'll sleep in her own bed. I doubt it, but she says she will.
We didn't do anything at all today. It was actually a very boring day for us. It was raining out this morning when we got up and then Madison wanted to go back to bed which is rare. Who am I to say no, so I layed down with her and feel asleep too. We woke up really late and the sun was shining. But we just hung out at the house today. She watched movies and I mowed the lawn and then we went for our 3 mile walk. Shortly after that Steve came home from work and we ran to Ikea after dinner (I made spegehtti). It's been a short day but I guess with me still being up at 2:00 am it evened out! Maybe I should try to get some sleep. Good night!

Ty's Play

We went to go see Tyler in "Grease" last night! Man, was he funny. He acutally did have a big part in the play. At least one of the most memoriable ones. I thought as a "t-bird" he wouldn't of had a big part, but that wasn't true. He is really a funny actor. I know he seems serious on the outside but the kid has a ton of humor in him that he can transpire on stage! Mom...sorry about forgetting to tell you that we were going. The fact that we didn't need a babysitter cuz we brought Madison (I'll tell you about that in a second) made me totally not think that anyone else was going to come along. Sorry. I guess I could of invited everyone else too. Sorry family! I wasn't thinking because this is also a work week. We drove up there yesterday and drove back too. That was tiring. We got back about 2 am. Anyways, the little rascal was really super good watching the play until 3/4 of the way thorugh when she screamed out "I wanna go home!" and both Steve and I were frantic to get her outside the autoruim doors before she could cause anymore of a tantrum. I couldn't get mad because she truly did a good job. She was singing and dancing in her seat. I think it's neat that she finally got to see Tyler act in person instead of on his tapes of the shows. I wonder how much influence Ty is having on her. We know she totally loves musicals on the dvd/vcr. Ones that I think are too old for her, but she loves them anyways. As long as there's singing and dancing she'll watch it! Now we have to go get the movie Grease. That will be her next obsession!

Here are some cute pics of her while we were waiting for the play to start. She was so smiley because she got to sit on a huge rock. That's what I need for her to smile...props!

I don't think I have posted a few days and I can't think what we have done...hmmm. Anyways, today we are going to go over to my friend Lisa's house who has a little girl named abby. Abby is 7, I think. We are going to go swimming in their apt. pool. It's nice outside so it should be fun.

Oh, today is my weigh in day for following Weight Watchers. For crying outloud I only lost 1/2 a pound. 2 weeks of following WW and that is all. I am beyond frustrated. All I can do is keep following it. It has always worked in the past for me. I am pretty sure my metabolism is messed up due to my meds that I am on. Ohhh, that is so frustrating! I just don't get it and I am acting like a big baby when it comes to this, but I just am frustrated! Poor me. Poor, poor me.

Enough of that. I can only stay on my little tantrum for so long. Steve hears about it enough so I'll leave my viewing audience alone so you don't have to listen to me. But jeeze! Okay, enough of that! Here are some more photos. Here's a cute one of Madison and Steve peeking behind a tree! hee hee

Oh, here is a photo that Madison took of me and Steve. We laughed hard over this. Maybe no one else thinks it's funny, but it's totally our sense of humor....Speaking of sense of humor...Madison was in the bathroom being quit a little too long yesterday and I walked in and she totally had the entire roll of toilet paper unrolled on the floor. It was so funny. She saw me and yelled out "sorry!" and then again said "sorry mom" before she bursted out crying. She knew she got busted! It was so funny. She was crying so hard. Steve said she did the same thing last week where he walked into the bathroom and she had soap in her hair. Funny kid stuff which I am sure you're all rolling your eyes over!

Here are 3 more layouts that I made. I bought another kit online. I could just make the stuff too but it's so time consuming plus I like other people's stuff.
Below is the gingerbread man I made out of play-doh. I went out of the room for awhile (probley went to the computer) and Madison yelled for me to come see her play-doh guy...she copied what I did for the eyes and mouth. Isn't that cute? Is this another "only a mother would think is cute"? Probley. I just think her guy is really cute. hee hee

We went down to the park last night. Trying to make time fly by a little faster with Steve being gone. When she gets tired playing she always has this look on her face.
I went and picked up Alexis from the airport today. She was done with her 2 weeks of duty for the navy. She told me that she is getting deployed to Iraq. I almost started crying. She was crying. She'll be there a year and she doesn't want to go. I feel so bad for her. A year is a long time. I couldn't make it. Then again, that's why I am not in the reserves or gaurds because I am too much of a baby. I told her I'd have to buy some good ole' stationary so I can write her now. She probley won't have computer access. I am really bummed that she is going. Scary.

We got back Madison's results from her blood test. Her levels are elevated so they said we could put her back on medication if we want OR we can still wait out the 3 months of testing her. We decided we are going to wait the 3 months out to see what her levels do because we haven't noticed anything different with her moods and her level being high(er). Hopefully the level will go back down because I just hate to see her have to take medication that rest of her life. That's sad.

Oh, she got back her little report card from ice skating. She has to repeat snowplow 2. No kiddin'. All she did was lie down on the ice. I hope next session isn't like that! I think I found a dance class for her to be in. Classes start in the beginning of September and run through May. So that is when they'll have their dance recitel. How cute. Also, how expensive. I checked a few different places and they all run about the same. I think I'll like her being in dance more than being in gymnastics which would start about the same time. Dance class and ice skating is good to keep her (us) busy. I can't wait to see her in her little dance costume for their recietals. God, what if she decideds to just lie down on the floor in dance class like she does in ice skating. Well, her dance class consists of 3 and 4 years old so they have to be use to that type of behavior....right? Or is it just Madison that acts like that? eeks...how do we correct that type of behavior? You can only have so many charts.

I've been on a layout spree with the new kit that I bought. Me and Madison (Madison and I) went on a walk this morning and got rained on! I knew I shouldn't of pushed it, but I did! I learned my lesson. Getting a workout is not worth putting my child in uncomfortable situations. She didn't mind the rain but I did! We are now going to go to the Mall of America to go on some rides! FUN

Here are some layouts that I made with a kit that I bought. Oh, I don't think I told anyone that we are done with inkededges. We just got bored with it. We weren't selling much except the occassional kit here and there because we weren't doing any advertising in "the community". We did what we wanted and that was getting a little business up and running. The rest is boring. Our challenge is done with for ourselves. So inkededges.com rest in peace. It's very time consuming to design and I'd rather buy some of the other kits that I see. Some very talented people out there.

We got back from our walk abit ago. That was nice, Steve walked with me tonight. I already went on a 3 mile walk earlier in the day. We are just hanging out. Steve's watching TV in the living room, Madison is watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in her bedroom and I am in the computer room. A typical night in the Michaels's household. Steve is leaving for the weekend down to Jimmy's farm to go biking. Not sure what Madison and I are going to do. I have to pick up Alexis from the airport on Saturday morning and then I am sure that we'll hang out during the day somewhere. Not sure excatly what we are going to do. I am sure it will be something fun. Oh shoot...that reminds me that we missed the Bloomington's Music in the Park series that happens every Thursday. SHOOT! Oh well...it's almost 8:30 so it's done with now. Bummer. We haven't been to one at all this summer. I keep missing all the little town parties and stuff around Bloomington. I think Shakopee has theirs coming up soon.
I love this layout that I did of Madison and Steve exploring on the farm. It seems like it's been a long time since I have been on my blog. I think I am so bummed out that I didn't lose any weight that I don't even feel like blogging. I don't know why I didn't (it has to be my meds) because I followed it totally perfect PLUS I worked out everyday AND even TWICE some days. I am just so disappointed. Hopefully next weigh in day will be a little better. I haven't seen my numbers budge since the last time Kim and I did our challenge against each other. It doesn't matter what I have done, nothing moves. It's really quite sad because I tried so hard. You can't get any more perfect than what I have done in a weeks time to lose weight.
I guess there is nothing else I have to blog about. I am just too sad. Poor me.
Okay, I will snap out of it. I will just think of Vegas and that'll make me happy. Except I'll be no thinner than I am now if this is what is going to happen and then I'll be sad in Vegas. Poor me. Poor, poor me.

Ya hoo, we are going to Vegas! I am so excited. We are staying downtown at the Golden Nugget. I think it'll be fun to be downtown this time. Kinda like a gigantic party right outside our door. They also have a cool pool called "the tank". Anyways, you can check out the Golden Nugget @: http://www.goldennugget.com/home.asp if you'd like to see where we are staying. I am soooo soooo sooooo excited to go. Thanks Nana and Papa for staying with Madison while we are gone. We are a little apprehensive thinking that she is going to wonder where mommy and daddy are. I think it'll be really hard to be away from her for the 4 days/3 nights that we are gone. She will have Daycare on Monday AND Thursday so that will give you guys a break from her also. I didn't realize we were gone over a Mon AND Thurs, so that's kinda cool for you guys. At least it's a little break from her anyways. Thank you, thank you, thank you for watching her! I am so excited to go to Vegas! I hope that I keep my tan until I go. Isn't that a hoot that is what I am worried about? I guess life is well when that is my worry of the month. I hopefully will of lost some weight by then. I am doing good following weight watchers. I weigh myself on Wednesday and will post what I lost. I am hoping for my 2 lbs. I can lose about 15 lbs before I go to Vegas. Okay, that's 2 worries for me this upcoming month. I can't imagine that I haven't lost because I have followed ww plan perfectly except for one night I ate something (cheez-it crackers) that put me over my points. Plus I have walked my almost 3 miles everyday and have even walked twice some of the days. Oh, I'd be so disappointed if I didn't lose. I can't even think about it! Anyways, I will post on Wednesday the good news of my weight issues. See how positive I am? hee hee.
Anyways, I am so happy that we get to go to Vegas over our anniversary. 4 year has sure flown by! I want to do something special for him while we are out there. Any suggestions? If you do, please leave in the comments area. He doesn't read this blog so he won't see it. We are flying back on our anniversary but it would be cool if I did something for him. Ha, it'll probley be just a card. Maybe I'll win a crap load of money and I will suprise him on our anniversary. Wouldn't that be awesome? Eeeee I am so excited to go.

Here are some photos of Steve and Jimmy on their Dirt bikes. We drove down to the farm this morning to get our truck, which starts fine now.

Took some cute photos of madison playing with the farm kitties. I love these photos.

Expecially this photo. I don't know why, but it's one of my faves.

I must of started this blog about a year ago because I have come on here and blogged 302 times. I don't know how to take that...good or bad? Pathetic life or creative outlet? I'll let you, the fearless reader who has nothing better to do than read this blog, make the decision. Maybe you need to ask yourself the same question.

Madison and I have been outside for hours and hours. I finished painting the entertainment center white...which looks just okay. Doesnt' look great but better than the wood color. And we picked green beans out of the garden. Want to see what our carrots look like right now? They are just itty bitty little thangs....
And we already went on our walk. I changed the path and then drove around to clock the miles. It's 2.8 miles. Just shy of our normal 3 mile walk. Do you realize that I have stuck to my 30 days of walking except for the few days that we were in South Dakota visiting Nana and Papa? I did walk there 2 days but I only count one of the days cuz we had peppers *the dog* and she was stopping every 2 seconds, so I can't count that day. Also the day I had to drive back from buffalo and then go down to Jimmy and Alexis's farm, I didn't walk that day either. But except for that I have walked about 3 miles every day. You'd think I'd lose at least 1 pound from this challenge that I set myself up for...but nope, not even one pound. Oh well, something has to move one of these days. I can't stay at this weight forever. By the way, I am now following weight watchers. I am on day 4. We'll see if that gets the pounds rolling off of me. I sure hope so because nothing else is working. Ever since I started this certain medication I am on, I gained so much and then it doesn't come off. It's not fair! Anyways, I am determined to get it off of me finally and hopefully following weight watchers will help. I am weighing myself once a week and decided that Wednesdays are my weigh in days and to keep accountable and I blogging wether or not I have lost any weight or not. I am totally airing my dirty laundry here, but I am willing to do anything if it works, so that's what I am doing. Boy, I got off on a tangent there, didn't I? All I meant to say was that I went on my walk. Madison wore her little princess dress and we got some stares. Doesn't all parents let their little girls out in their princess costumes? Doesn't bother me I guess....

And then Madison swam in her pool while I read a book. Then we came in and I took my shower. It's nice to be in the air conditioned house for awhile. Usually I hate having on the air but it's been so hot these last few days it's been nice. It's also been nice sleeping with the air conditioner on. I have slept through the night the last 2 nights and not woken up. For about the last year or so I wake up 1-3 times a night. I hate that. I have been falling asleep listening to my relaxation music on my ipod shuffle. It's been quite nice falling asleep to that. When I had my chronic jaw pain, I use to listen to guided imagery relaxation tapes. It would take me away from the pain. I should try to find those tapes now and try to fall asleep using those. I have used the guided imagery tapes to deal with my migraines. It really works. Kinda cool. You guys probley think I am nuts but when you have pain and will do anything to get a break from it, those things really do work. Have you ever tried biofeedback? I use that too to help with the headaches. Now I am just talking pain techo stuff so I'll stop cuz I am sure it's boring ya all!

We are waiting for grandma gracie to get here. She's sleeping over because we are going to go see kayla and hailey's swim meet tomorrow morning. When she gets here, she is going to watch Madison so we can go get a game of golf in. I am so excited. I love, love, love to golf. Then tonight after we golf, me and mom and nikki and barbie are going to go see mama mia. Now if I wasn't asked to go, I don't think I'd go see that movie. I am sure it's really good because it's gotten good reviews on it and it's been a broadway show forever so it has to be good, but still....I doubt that I'd go see that movie if me and Steve were going to go see a movie. And I sure wouldn't go see it myself becuase it would have to be like sex and the city for me to do a movie by myself again. Oh..that reminds me, I heard that they may do a FRIENDS movie now, just like sex and the city. Oh, I am so excited for that! whoo hoo!

Allrighty then...I have been blabbing on about nothing and should probley tend to my child instead of being on the computer. She is now in the living room, watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and eating yogurt (MY boston cream pie yogurt). Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Thursday, July 17, 2008

Hello. We are cleaning out Madison's room and getting rid of her toddler bed because she doesn't sleep in it anyway. Kim gave us Kayla's bedframe/headboard that matches her dresser that we took too. We already sold that on craigslist for 50 buckaroonies. And we are selling her armiore. I love this armiore but we just do not have room for it anylonger and there is nowhere else to put it in our house. It is just too large for Madison's room and it doesn't have enough storage for her toys. In it's place we are gong to put the old entertainment center there. I am painting it white though. I wasn't going to put the entertainment center in there but I decided that I can always change it later on if I want. I will put baskets in the cubby holes and it'll look cute. We are trying to figure out what to do with the fish. Oh... I know, we could put the fish down in Tyler's room on his dresser. There is just not enough room in our house for anything. I can tell that I am going to get back on the "I want to move" kick. But I can not imagine what it would be like to get our house ready to move.....oh, that's so much work. Plus, I don't think the market is good to sell right now, is it? I know you can probley do well on buying a house right now but what about selling it? Oh, I doubt that we would do it now anyways just because I want to. I think Steve first wants to put windows in before we would ever think of selling. We would also need to recarpet everything. Plus if we move, I'd want to buy new furniture and we don't have the money for that either. Guess I just answered my own question on wether or not we can move. Bummer. It was fun while it lasted the 60 seconds it took to type out the last paragraph.
Oh, I just have to brag about how good Madison has been lately. Really a good little girl. Except she still is not fully potty trained. THAT is quite the problem. I guess sooner or later. You can't even threaten her with putting her back in diapers because she says "okay".
Tomorrow Grandma Gracie is going to come in the afternoon and do a sleep over! Fun!

Wednesday, July 16, 2008

Man, was it hot out today. Madison and I were stuck here at the house with no car so we couldn't go anywhere. So, I filled up her little plastic pool with water and we hung out outside for as long as we could stand it...

Suntanning and laying out by the pool and paint our toenails. Girly stuff like that.Yes, her toes are much cuter than mine! Then about 3:00 we went out for our 3 mile walk. I don't know why I would take us out on our walk at that time of the day because I honestly don't think I ever have sweated that much in my lifetime! It was HOT! At least I got my walk in. I wanted to go tonight when I usually go...about 7:30 pm or so but my calf (the one that I had my kite injury with) was/is a little sore and I didn't think that I should push it. I wonder when that thing is really going to heal. Probley the next time I really take a break from my walking which will probley be in the winter time unless I join a gym by then.

We have been eating dinner outside everynight. It's been so nice. I am on a salad kick. Only salads this week for me for dinner time. I suppose I'll have to cook the family something one of these days. Maybe tomorrow. Then Steve set off some fireworks outside, which were pretty cool and we came in to go to bed.

Kinda a boring day, but it was kind of nice to stay at the house. I feel like we run so much. We were suppose to go to a friend's pool today but we didn't have our car. My friend has a daughter who's about 6 or 7 so it's a fun age for them to play together.

Anways, I took my nighty night pill and it should start knocking me out pretty soon! Night!

I love this layout of madison at jimmy and alexis's farm. We still don't know when we are going to get down to the farm and get the truck because Steve has meetings and stuff the rest of the week and then on Saturday I want to go watch Kayla and Haylie at her swim meet. Then after that we have a graduation party to go to. So, the next possible time would have to be Sunday.
Today Madison and I went to the Shakopee pool and meet Auntie Lynnie there. Boy, I am telling you this sticker thing really works. Works like a charm. I am careful not to abuse the word "sticker" or she'll resent it and protest by doing what she shouldn't do. But when she starts getting to the point of being fussy I tell her that I really want to help her get her sticker and she straightens out! Oh, then we went ice skating today. Okay...so she didn't cry at all but she basically laid down in the middle of the rink and didn't move for almost the whole time. Her old teacher brought her in today and I said, sorry....and she laughed and said that her current teacher said, "I thought you said she ice skated before" and the old teacher said, "SHE DID". I think my child is regressing and not progressing. It's because of the time of day that ice skating lessons are. 3:30 -4:00 is NOT a good time for little children to be trying to do anything other than laying around or napping.
Here is a picture of Nikki and Grandma "homie" Gracie. Ha, I laughed so hard at this picture.
Look at this cool picture of Steve looking outside a window of Jimmy and Alexis's farmhouse. I LOVE this picuture of him. Below are some layouts I did of Madison down at their farm on Saturday....

Our truck is still down at the farm. If you wondering why is our truck down there, it's because the truck jammed up (the key) and won't start. Actually after I drove down there and we got back to our house, Steve looked up on the internet to see if other's have gone through this with their Dodge and by golly, yes they have. It was suggested to take a rubber mallot and hit the key in the ignition a few times and it will start. Guess what? It started. NOW we have to drive all the way down there to go get the truck. Glad we don't have to pay to get it fixed at least.

I got to go out with some girlfriends for breakfast/brunch on Saturday after we got back from the farm. It was fun. I never go out with them, so it was good to catch up.

Oh, it was fun at Grandma Gracie's house. Madison was really good up there. Oh, I guess that is because her behavior chart is working like a charm! Who knew!

Anyways, I had to get up early and go drive Steve into work this morning. I like being up early. GETTING up early is different than liking to be up early. I think we are going to go to the beach today since it is so nice out again. Today is usually the day that we would have a playdate with Indio and Kari, but I called her last night to let her know that I didn't know if I would have the car or not. Anways, I think we are just going to go to the shakopee pool today. Then she has ice skating lessons. Oh, I hope so much that she BEHAVES today and wants to actually skate. She's been a little crabby apples this morning (but not too bad) so who knows how it's going to end up. We'll see I guess.

Can't think what else I was going to blog about. It seems like there is a ton of stuff but now I can't remember anything! Too early in the morning for me still, I guess!

Monday, July 14, 2008

Seems like forever since I have blogged. I have a really bad headache right now so I am not going to really blog other than put some photos up. Lots have happened in the last few days so I will try to blog when I feel a bit better. Shoot...I tried to upload pictures and it said that there are some internal errors so I'll also have to do that at a later time. Check back tomorrow *which is probley today for everyone.
Have a great day.

Wednesday, July 9, 2008

Well, tomorrow Madison and I are heading out to Grandma Gracies for the next 3 days. Steve is going down to Jimmy's farm with his bike. He said he wouldn't go but that doesn't make for a happy guy so I gave in and told him to just go. I am not bitching about this....I am just stating it as it is. Then next weekend he'll be home but the weekend after that he'll be down there again. I will just take it in stride, hopefully and deal with it. I still am not kidding anyone that I am happy about this. I could say no but where will that get me? It's just easier if he goes and then try to deal with it. So anyways....I didn't want to stay home alone so we are heading out to grandma gracies until Saturday night.

I am kinda tired. I slept through the night last night which is a first in a long, long time. We'll see what happens tonight.

Today we went to the beach with Auntie Lynnie. It was fun. She was a little naughty and Lynnie talked me into doing a star chart for her for when she is a good girl for the am/afternoon hours and for the night hours. She actually got a star tonight. She didn't get one for the afternoon though. I won't get into that. After so many stars she gets to pick a prize out of our prize bucket that we bought today. So far this is working....it made her stop and think about what she was doing and knowing that she is getting rewarded for good behavior. Ahhhh, the threats a parent makes. hee hee. She seems excited by this. And I am happy that this isn't a snackie reward. She eats too many snacks and crap.

I think I am pms'ing cuz I just am tired out by the parenting and marraige issues and all the compromising and working. It's hard work these last two days. Don't get me wrong, I wouldn't trade this for anything but it just seems like some hard work these last few days. Whew. I need a vacation. ha. I went on my 3 mile walk by myself these last 2 days just to "get away". It worked abit. Turned up the volume on my headphones and lost myself for an hour while I walked. It was a good get away. Just enough time to recoup and get back to family life.

Well, I had best get to bed right now. I have some laundry I have to get done tomorrow morning before we go to Grandma Gracies and I will try to get up early tomorrow. NOT that this is going to be done, mind you. But I should because Steve wants me to mow the lawn and get the basement ready for Jimmy and Alexis who are coming tomorrow night. I can only do what I can and can't promise anything is what I told him. I am just so blah feeling that I can't even push myself to do it. I usually LOVE mowing the lawn because it's a bit of a physical outlet for me but it just seems like a lot of work. Yes....I think I just need to get a good night of sleep and get out of this funk that I am in. Good night. Don't let the bed bugs bite.

Tuesday, July 8, 2008

I can't sleep. It's 4:22 am and I am so tired, yet I can't sleep. Dang it. I hate this. Anyways, I made 2 layouts. How do you like my flowers that I made the other day? Well, I will go try to sleep now....wish me luck.
Mom, btw (that means by the way), I am going to come stay over night on Thursday and Friday night. Steve is going to go ride his bike and I thought I'd come stay a few nights. I'll try to call you tomorrow sometime. If I don't, try me, okay? My blog has become my personal secretary now...

Monday, July 7, 2008

Well, Steve and I went fishing today (he took the day off) and I caught the big one. It was the hugest bass Steve has ever seen. Man, it was sooo awesome catching that thing! Fun stuff I am telling you. Here is a layout I did of my fishie that I caught...

Notice the rubber glove on my hand. There was no way I was going to touch that thing bare handed. In fact, I dropped it after a second or two becuase I was so grossed out by touching it at all. Yuck. Steve wanted to cook our fish for dinner but for some reason I am grossed out by eating something that I caught. Kinda wierd, I know, but for some reason I am just grossed out by it. I told him that him and Madison can eat it for dinner and I'd be just fine. BTW, he decided we'd have hamburgers instead. I was fine by that! He makes these really good meatloaf burgers. While we were over in South Dakota, Steve cooked us his famous ribs. I think Nana and Papa thought they were just as good as I did. mmmmm. Damn...I am hooked on those things now. Can't believe how good ribs taste.

Sunday, July 6, 2008

Well, we just got back from South Dakota a few hours ago and I don't really feel like blogging much but I thought I'd post a few pictures. It is sooo hot that we acutally put on our air conditioner. We had alot of fun in SD. We got to go golfing a few times (that makes the vacation right there!), and saw a parade and saw some mud volleyball. What's a vacation without mud volleyball?

Here are some photos of this long weekend...

Here we are at the parade. It was a very long parade. Fun stuff. Man, did Madison ever get the candy. She has a big bag of it (put nicely in the "save the world" green economically correct canvas bag from nana). Much more than she would get for halloween. We'll have to toss 1/2 of it! Here is a lovely picture of Nana and Papa. Don't they look lovely?

Here is the little witches costume that I bought for Madison at a garage sale. This will now be her latest obsession. Man, was she ever a crabby apples up at Nana and Papa's house. Really bad. Now of course she's as happy as can be which is her normal self.

We went to the beach today with Auntie Lynnie. It was fun, but geez...when it was time to go she screamed and screamed. I think for a minute, the entire beach stopped. Slightly embarssing. Just want I want...attention drawn to me in my swimsuit! She quickly got over it. Now we are waiting for ice skating lessons to start. We'll start getting ready in the next 1/2 hour or so. Not much else is new. We are going to go to South Dakota for the 4th of July. Fun! There is usually a parade and then the local bar has a outdoor band which is really fun. Madison will have a good time seeing Nana and Papa. She's been talking about them! We are going to leave on Thursday after we take her to go get her blood drawn. Did I say already that she is acutally off her medication that she's taken since the day she was born? They'll see what her blood levels are and then she may not have to go back on them. They'll take her blood for the next 3 months before they decide if she can be off of it for good. Thank God Steve is coming with this time. I'll have him take her in to get her blood drawn. I can't bear to watch her go through the drama. Poor baby.
